Morihito Otogi, un liceale che proviene da una stirpe di orchi, si gode la sua vita tranquilla finché la sua amica d'infanzia, Nico, si trasferisce da lui. Nico è una strega in fase di formazione e sceglie Morihito come famiglio. Anche se Nico è emozionata di riunirsi col suo vecchio amico per cui ha una cotta, Morihito riceve il pericoloso incarico di proteggerla da una preannunciata calamità. Nel bel mezzo dell'imprevedibile caos generato dalla magia di Nico, e dal macello scaturito dal vivere insieme, le loro vite diventano un turbinio di stranezze sovrannaturali e minacce.
