The Gifted è una serie tv statunitense che si inserisce nell'universo Marvel, è ideata da Matt Nix per la Fox. La serie racconta la storia dell'ordinaria famiglia Strucker, composta dal padre Reed, che lavora nell'ufficio del procuratore distrettuale, dalla madre Caitlin impegnata nel suo lavoro di infermiera e dai loro figli adolescenti Lauren ed Andy. La normalità di questa famiglia viene bruscamente sconvolta quando i due genitori scoprono che entrambi i figli hanno dei poteri speciali, sono infatti dei mutanti con il gene X, i quali non sono ben visti dalla società che ha paura di ciò che è diverso e non ne permette l'integrazione e per questo motivo sono costretti a fuggire.

Nel villaggio di Berk ormai i draghi vivono in totale armonia con gli esseri umani, li aiutano e sono integrati perfettamente in tutte le funzioni del villaggio che è ora diventato prospero grazie a questa amicizia. Nelle sue esplorazioni Hiccup però si imbatte in un gruppo di cacciatori di draghi, scoprendo che esiste un rinnegato che sta radunando un esercito di bestie al suo servizio. Informato della cosa, il villaggio decide di dichiarargli guerra ma Hiccup è determinato a parlargli per convincere anche lui della bontà dei draghi. Nel farlo si imbatterà in un mondo e persone che credeva perdute e che si uniranno a lui nel grande ed inevitabile scontro finale.

Seth è un aspirante mago della regione di Pompo Hills. Come tutti i maghi è un “infetto”, un essere molto raro che è riuscito a sopravvivere al contatto con un Nemesis, delle creature cadute dal cielo che hanno contaminato e ucciso quasi tutti coloro che han toccato. La sua apparente immunità al tocco del Nemesis gli ha fatto comprendere che il suo destino è ormai segnato: deve diventare un cacciatore di taglie e combattere i Nemesis. Tuttavia il suo obiettivo non è solo cacciare questi terribili mostri, ma anche quello di trovare il Radiant, quella che si crede possa essere la tana dei Nemesis. Insieme ad altri maghi percorrerà il mondo alla ricerca del Radiant, stando continuamente attento a fuggire dall’Inquisizione o da qualsiasi ostacolo si ponga sulla sua strada.
