American Horror Story è una serie antologica prodotta da FX. Ogni stagione racconta una storia autoconclusiva legata al genere horror, esplorando argomenti e sottogeneri come lo slasher, la casa infestata dagli spettri, la stregoneria, il satanismo, il manicomio e persino l’elezione presidenziale del 2016. Il cast rimane parzialmente invariato ogni anno, dando agli attori la possibilità di interpretare più ruoli.
