Oggi è il responsabile della sicurezza della Rinascente e si fa chiamare agente Mao. È attento, scrupoloso, analitico e integerrimo. Ma non solo nel lavoro, anche nella vita privata. Un giorno, proprio nell’appartamento davanti alle finestre di Maurilio, va a vivere una donna molto attraente: è Rita, una hostess di linea un po’ malinconica. Siamo nel 2022, quando più di diecimila giocatori si collegano a un gioco virtuale e vi rimangono intrappolati. “Game Over” significa morire anche nella vita reale. Un eroe riesce a liberare i giocatori intrappolati e a mettere fine all’incubo. Quel gioco si chiama SWORD ART ONLINE. Questa storia si svolge molto tempo prima che la “Saetta” e lo “Spadaccino Nero” fossero conosciuti con questi nomi… Kirito e Asuna sono infatti intrappolati nel gioco mortale Sword Art Online da ormai due mesi. I due hanno raggiunto il quinto piano, incentrato sulle rovine. Avventurandosi attraverso sotterranei, catacombe ed enormi labirinti, incontrano mostri sempre più terribili, che Asuna non è in grado di gestire. Ma soprattutto devono affrontare diversi Player Killer, cioè giocatori che uccidono altri giocatori solo per divertimento. La lotta per la sopravvivenza diventa sempre più cruenta.

In questa commedia natalizia Eddie Murphy interpreta Chris, un uomo intento a a vincere la competizione annuale degli addobbi di Natale del suo quartiere. Chris (Eddie Murphy) inavvertitamente fa un accordo con una maliziosa elfa di nome Pepper (Jillian Bell) per aumentare le sue possibilità di vittoria, ma l'elfa lancia un incantesimo che dà vita ai "12 giorni di Natale" scatenando il caos in tutta la città.
