Trama Kikuko è una ragazzina di 11 anni che vive con la madre, Nikuko. Quest'ultima, trentottenne, è svampita, fracassona ed in carne. Sfortunata con l'altro sesso, quando viene lasciata per l'ennesima volta decide di andarne alla ricerca in un villaggio portuario del Giappone settentrionale. Nonostante capisca di non trovarsi nel posto giusto, sceglie di stabilirsi lì. Un ristorante diventa il suo luogo di lavoro. "Kikurin" (nomignolo di Kikuko) subìsce il conflitto fra la volontà di crescere presto e quella del rimanere com'è, tipico di quell'età. La sua fisicità presente le piace, però desidera lasciare quel paesino dove ognuno conosce ogni cosa. Per mezzo del suo punto di vista vengono raccontati slice-of-life gli abitanti del villaggio, mentre lei cresce. The Get Back recording sessions: Headlining the package are 46 minutes of recording sessions from two productive days at Apple Studios January 23 & 25, 1969. January 23 was devoted almost entirely to creating the song "Get Back" and here we get a fly on the wall view into the recording process. Here we see the Beatles chat, joke, tune, rehearse and try some serious attempts at recording the song. Over 75% of this footage has not been seen in this form, meaning inferior copies of some of this footage has circulated, but contained few moments of audio that matched the film. Here we proudly present all the footage with correct audio painstakingly researched from hours of Nagra audio reels. This process required studying silent footage and finding the bits of sound required to sync to film. A tedious process indeed, but one that comes with a big pay off .46 minutes of Beatles recording footage! Highlights include: Paul showing Billy Preston the piano chords to "Let It Be" for the first time, John imitating Yoko, The "I've Got A Feeling/Help!/Please Please Me" segment that now runs longer then ever before. The sessions for the 23rd also include some very long control room segments. We see and hear the excitement over the "Get Back" recording progression, with comments about getting it out as a single NOW. Even George expresses his excitement over the song. The Beatles can be seen and heard saying that they are packing it in for the night and thus ends the day's session. For You Blue: A real rarity, a recording session devoted to George's new song! Completely new to DVD are the following segments: George introduces the song and explains its origins. Long rehearsal segments that include George naming the song at John's request. Aika è una serie anime OAV giapponese prodotta nel 1997, realizzata da Katsuhiko Nishijima e distribuita in Italia da Dynamic Italia, sia in VHS, che successivamente in DVD. Trama L’ambientazione è post apocalittica, con la Terra mezza sommersa a seguito di un terribile terremoto. Anche Tokyo è sprofondata sotto il livello del mare: l'unica costruzione ancora parzialmente visibile di quella che una volta era la capitale del Giappone è la sua famosa torre. La civiltà degli uomini è comunque andata avanti nelle poche terre rimaste emerse; ed in questo scenario post apocalittico si assiste alla nascita un nuovo tipo di professionisti, i "salveger", specializzati nel recuperare oggetti rimasti sul fondo del mare. La bellissima Aika fa proprio parte di una di queste organizzazioni, e verrà ingaggiata per recuperare alcuni dati che si dimostreranno essere ben più importanti del previsto: saranno infatti mira anche di un egocentrico scienziato deciso a sfruttarle queste informazioni per realizzare la propria utopia. Nella Georgia degli anni Venti ancora dominata da una mentalità schiavista e razzista, Celie (Goldberg), appena adolescente, viene violentata dall'uomo al quale è stata data come compagna. Successivamente le vengono sottratti i figli nati dalla relazione e viene venduta a un altro uomo. Questi, ancora più brutale del primo, comncia anche a insidiare Nettie, la sorella più giovane di Celie, che lo respinge con decisione. Cacciata da casa Nettie in seguito alla sua "ribellione", alla povera Celie non resta che piegarsi alla vita da schiava. Solo moltissimi anni dopo potrà riabbracciare, in un prato di fiori viola, la sorella e i figli.

Il film vorrebbe essere una satira di un certo ambiente romano dove l'apparenza trionfa sulla sostanza. In realtà la denuncia si perde subito nella scimmiottatura di comportamenti che divengono ben presto macchiette.
