La modalità in solitaria contro l'IA in alcuni scenari ti consente di diventare Napoleone mentre guidi i tuoi eserciti dai campi della Francia alle steppe della Russia e dai deserti dell'Egitto alle montagne della Spagna. Oppure ti schieri contro di lui come Blucher, Kutuzov, il Duca di Wellington o uno qualsiasi di una ventina di altri famosi generali mentre pianifichi le tue strategie per cambiare le sorti delle guerre napoleoniche. E puoi giocare tutti gli scenari e le campagne in modalità multigiocatore (2 giocatori). Combatti per terra e in mare in brevi scenari che coprono ogni importante operazione strategica dal 1796 al 1815, o fai tutto in una grande campagna che potrebbe - o meno - concludersi sul campo di Waterloo. SCALA Napoleon's Eagles è un gioco strategico mensile a turni, basato su esagoni (40 miglia ciascuno). Decine di generali nominati e classificati individualmente guidano eserciti composti da punti forza astratti, ognuno dei quali rappresenta circa 5.000 uomini di fanteria o cavalleria e la loro artiglieria intrinseca.
