Alina è una vivace impiegata ben soddisfatta del suo tranquillo posto fisso alla reception della gilda degli avventurieri. Tutto va bene tranne quando la mole di lavoro si fa pesante poiché gli avventurieri stessi non riescono a sconfiggere l'ultimo boss apparso all'interno di un dungeon, sommergendola così di richieste e pratiche. Quando è vinta dallo stress e ha finito la pazienza, per tornare al tranquillo lavoro di ufficio, Alina si arma di un grosso martello e di una licenza da avventuriero fasulla (perché gli impiegati della gilda non possono fare un secondo lavoro pena il licenziamento), si reca nel dungeon e abbatte facilmente il boss di turno. Ben presto però si spargono le voci di un misterioso e invincibile avventuriero che agisce in solitaria nei dungeon inesplorati. Riuscirà Alina a mantenere il suo segreto e conservare il suo bel posto fisso?
