La vita di Wade Wilson, che ha ormai smesso di fare il mercenario in costume, non ha preso una bella piega. Negli ultimi anni la sua compagna l'ha lasciato e ora sta frequentando un altro uomo; al lavoro, come venditore di auto al fianco di Peter, gli affari arrancano; il colloquio per entrare negli Avengers è andato malissimo. Ciò nonostante Wade ha ancora i suoi amici intorno e, quando la TVA lo rapisce e gli comunica che la sua linea temporale sta per essere cancellata, ecco che Wade torna a mettere i panni di Deadpool e si lancia in una assurda impresa, per cui ha assolutamente bisogno di collaborare con una variante di Wolverine.
