Finisce prigioniero di una misteriosa organizzazione che lo costringe a lottare, a mani nude, in combattimenti clandestini estremi, che si possono concludere in un solo modo: con la morte di uno dei due sfidanti. In quell’universo alieno e spietato, Davide è costretto a spogliarsi della sua umanità per sopravvivere, seguendo le istruzioni di Minuto, un carceriere e allenatore di altri uomini senza speranza né futuro. Pian piano emerge, però, un legame segreto tra il ragazzo e l’uomo, che si rivela la sua unica possibilità di salvezza. E se da quella prigione si può forse trovare il modo di fuggire, altrettanto non può accadere con il destino né con le conseguenze delle proprie azioni.
