Taiju Oki riesce inspiegabilmente a risvegliarsi, trovandosi così di fronte ad una realtà completamente diversa da quanto ricordava, dove la natura ha ripreso il sopravvento sulla civiltà umana. Al suo risveglio il ragazzo si ricongiunge al suo amico Senku, un giovane e geniale scienziato, anche lui risvegliatosi qualche mese prima. Insieme i ragazzi sperano di scoprire la causa dietro all'improvvisa tramutazione in pietra, e, nel frattempo, di trovare una cura e ricostruire la civiltà umana grazie al potere della scienza.

    Sullo sfondo di un vivace mondo retro-futuristico ispirato agli anni ’60, il film Marvel Studios I Fantastici 4: Gli Inizi introduce la Prima Famiglia Marvel composta da Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Donna Invisibile (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Torcia Umana (Joseph Quinn) e Ben Grimm/la Cosa (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) alle prese con la sfida più difficile mai affrontata. Costretti a bilanciare il loro ruolo di eroi con la forza del loro legame familiare, i protagonisti devono difendere la Terra da una vorace divinità spaziale chiamata Galactus (Ralph Ineson) e dal suo enigmatico Araldo, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). E se il piano di Galactus di divorare l'intero pianeta e tutti i suoi abitanti non fosse già abbastanza terribile, la situazione diventa all’improvviso una questione molto personale.
