In una società di un non lontano futuro, al fine di preservare l'armonia e la felicità della popolazione, il giovane pompiere Montag è impegnato, insieme ai suoi colleghi e sotto lo sguardo vigile del suo mentore e capitano Beatty, a dare fuoco a tutto ciò che può essere considerato come strumento di cultura. Tutti dipendono dai nuovi media che pervadono la loro vita. Gli individui stanno a casa interagendo con enormi schermi sotto la guida (e il controllo) di 'Yuxie', una sorta di assistente personale dotata di intelligenza artificiale. Un giorno però Montag, grazie all'incontro con Clarissa che fa parte del gruppo di resistenza che cerca di salvare i libri, inizia a porsi delle domande.

Adattamento dell’omonimo romanzo best seller di Lottie Moggach, Kiss Me First. La storia segue le avventure di Leila, una solitaria ragazza di 17 anni la cui vita ruota intorno a un gioco online. Ci troviamo in uno strano presente alternativo nel quale il gioco più popolare è "Azana". Muovendosi nel gioco con il proprio avatar Shadowfax, incontra una ragazza di nome Tess , una ragazza disinvolta e sicura, la cui personalità è tutta il contrario di quella di Leila. Tess però, nasconde anche un oscuro segreto. Nel mondo reale, le due ragazze diventano amiche, ma dopo che Tess scompare, Leila decide di assumere l’identità della sua amica e, così facendo, si affretta a svelare il mistero dietro la sua scomparsa. Il vero viaggio di Leila ha, infatti, inizio quando comincia a sospettare che forse il santuario nascosto non è l’Eden digitale che il suo creatore, Adrian, dice di essere.

Per Hikari Tsutsui, la vita nel regno bidimensionale è molto più semplice. Socialmente inetto e goffo, si immerge nei videogiochi e negli anime, solo per essere inesorabilmente ridicolizzato e ostracizzato dai suoi compagni di classe. A condividere la sua sofferenza c'è Yuuto Itou, il suo unico amico, che indossa le orecchie da gatto ed è ugualmente ossessionato dal mondo dei giochi. Dopo essere stato costretto a pulire la piscina come punizione per essere arrivato in ritardo, Tsutsui incontra Iroha Igarashi, ma tenta di evitarla, poiché la sua notorietà la precede.
