La vita di Takemichi Hanagaki è ai minimi storici. Proprio quando pensava che non potesse andare peggio, scopre che Hinata Tachibana, la sua ex ragazza, è stata uccisa dalla Tokyo Manji Gang: un gruppo di feroci criminali che da tempo disturba la pace della società. Chiedendosi dove sia andato tutto storto, Takemichi si ritrova improvvisamente a viaggiare nel tempo, finendo 12 anni nel passato, quando aveva ancora una relazione con Hinata. Rendendosi conto di avere la possibilità di salvarla, Takemichi decide di infiltrarsi nella Tokyo Manji Gang e scalare i ranghi per riscrivere il futuro e salvare Hinata dal suo tragico destino.
