Pechino Express è un adattamento del format belga-olandese Peking Express prodotto da Magnolia ed in onda a partire dal 2012 .La prima edizione è andata in onda con la conduzione di Emanuele Filiberto di Savoia. A partire dalla seconda edizione alla conduzione del programma c'è Costantino Della Gherardesca, già concorrente della prima edizione. Nel corso dell'adventure game Costantino della Gherardesca, con la sua ironia e con un tocco di sarcasmo, accompagna le 8 coppie di concorrenti durante il loro viaggio. Un itinerario ricco di difficoltà che mette a dura prova i partecipanti tra sbalzi climatici e cambi di altitudine che mette le coppie di fronte a continue prove di resistenza psico-fisica. Nell'ultima edizione la 9a del 2022 i concorrenti attraversano quattro Paesi del Medio Oriente: Turchia, Uzbekistan, Giordania, Emirati Arabi.

Totto-chan è una bambina di sei anni senza peli sulla lingua ed una curiosità fuori dal comune che non riesce a sottostare alle regole imposte dalla maestra della sua scuola. Questo comportamento la porta ad essere espulsa dopo pochi giorni ed i genitori decidono di iscriverla alla Tomoe, una scuola situata in un vagone del treno con un approccio veramente particolare nell'insegnamento. Qui i ragazzi apprendono attraverso il gioco e toccheranno diversi aspetti della vita come il rispetto di se stessi e degli altri, il piacere dello studio, la musica, l'amicizia, l'autonomia, l'accettazione delle sconfitte oltre a scoprire anche cose come l'intolleranza e la perdita delle persone care. Una scuola che cambierà totalmente la vita di Totto-chan, fino a quando non arriverà la Seconda Guerra Mondiale a sconvolgere tutto questo...
