Naruto Shippuden si svolge due anni e mezzo dopo che Naruto parte per allenarsi con Jiraiya. Al suo ritorno, Naruto scopre che tutti lo hanno superato di grado, e lui è rimasto indietro. Naruto continues his training by summoning Gamakichi and Gamatatsu, but still doesn't understand the concept of connecting to another person's heart.
