    In una grande villa sul lago di Como tutto è pronto per celebrare il matrimonio di Elio e Caterina. Sarà il giorno più bello della loro vita e anche di quella dei loro genitori, soprattutto dei rispettivi padri, Giacomo e Giovanni. Peccato che insieme a Margherita, l’ex moglie di Giovanni nonché madre della sposa, arrivi al matrimonio anche Aldo, il suo nuovo compagno. Simpatico, espansivo e soprattutto casinista in sommo grado. Giacomo e Giovanni provano ad arginarlo in tutti i modi, ma sotto i colpi di Aldo si aprono delle crepe da cui affiora un malessere nascosto, destinato a mettere in discussione l’amicizia tra Giovanni e Giacomo, i loro matrimoni e non solo. E che costringerà tutti a fare i conti con i propri dubbi e con il coraggio che ci vuole per concedersi la felicità.
