Izuku nel frattempo si è allontanato da Katsuki e incomincia a formulare una strategia per aiutare la compagna. Il ragazzo viene però raggiunto dal bullo che sfoggia per la prima volta i suoi braccioli granata contenente sudore esplosivo che usa per un devastante attacco. All Might minaccia di fargli fallire la prova se avesse ripetuto quella mossa al che il ragazzo riprende a lottare a mani nude. Alla fine Izuku si fa colpire facendo collidere il suo braccio con One For All attivo e un attacco esplosivo, indirizzando l'esplosione verso l'alto e raggiungendo il piano con gli altri due studenti. Questo fornisce a Ochaco dei detriti da scagliare su Tenya e permetterle di afferrare la bomba facendo vincere la sua squadra. Katsuki sebbene abbia dominato in potenza è sconvolto di aver perso contro Izuku. 7: Deku vs Kacchan In onda il: 2016-05-15 Mentre vengono ripercorsi vari momenti della loro infanzia, Katsuki e Izuku continuano a combattere, mentre Ochaco trova la bomba e Tenya. La ragazza però non può usare le sue abilità poiché il nemico ha levato dalla stanza tutti gli oggetti che potevano fungerle da arma. Izuku nel frattempo si è allontanato da Katsuki e incomincia a formulare una strategia per aiutare la compagna.
